Welding Productivity
Prior to obtaining costs of equipment, it must be determined what type and how much will be required to reach the desired productivity your company requires.
Different methods used can alter production rates and costs, therefore it is imperative to have this information prior to tendering for jobs.
Please note: Your fastest welding station can only be as productive as your slowest station.
Job specifics such as pipe outside diameter, wall thickness, pipe grade, number of welds, and length of pipe to be joined are required for us to provide calculations.
- Productivity rates can be adjusted according to desired methods and processes used.
- Productivity rate per day can be foreseen.
- An outcome on the desired number of systems can be made.
- Associated methods to be used in preparation for welding can be decided from calculations. Eg-Standard bevel with no backing using an internal line up clamp will give different productivity to another method
